| V. W. Bro Derek Horrocks has intimated to the Provincial Grand Master his wish to retire as Special Representative for the Garston area of Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges on the grounds of ill heath. | |
| The Provincial Grand Master has reluctantly acceded to his request which takes place with immediate effect and wishes to place on record the greatful thanks of both himself and the Mark Province of West Lancashire for the sterling service that V W Bro Derek has contributed to the Garston area and the Province over the past fifteen years. | |
| He wishes Derek a timely recovery from his recent period of ill health and and a most enjoyable and well earned retirement. | |
| An announcement of a successor to V W Bro aHorrocks will be made by the Provincial Office in the near future |
